For the second year in a row, HNL takes home gold at the AAA PeeWee Atlantics. The B&B Electrical TriCom Thunder went undefeated in the tournament capping off an impressive 5-0 record to keep the Bell Aliant Trophy in NL. Lead by the stingy JT Tobin in net, the Thunder roared out of the gate in the second period of the championship game crushing the Crushers 5-0 with 3 goals in 42 seconds. With Vimy Ridge fresh in everyone's mind, stud defenseman Liam Marshall's cannons from the blue line secured him as tournament MVP. Top forward Jaden Dyke and a well-balanced attack from all players, battled hard in the trenches to emerge victorious in a hard fought, sometimes chippy affair between the top 11 and 12 year old players in Atlantic Canada.
