Conception Bay Region MHA set to host AAA PeeWee Altantics

The top 11 and 12 year old peewee players in Atlantic Canada to compete April 6-9 for Atlantic supremacy. The host BSB TriCom Thunder and provincial representatives St. John's Hitmen, are getting in their last on-ice practices this week in preparation for the Atlantics. The Thunder, lead by Top Defenseman Liam Marshall, Rookie of the Year Mitchell Wagner, Top Scorer Connor Molly and Best GAA Goalie, JT Tobin, look to continue with their impressive season as they open the tournament against the Pictou County Crushers, 7:00pm April 6. The Hitmen, lead by stand out goaltender Dekon Randell-Snow, voted as the league's Top Goaltender, hope to repeat as Atlantic Champions and open the tournament with a 1:30pm tilt on Thursday, also against Team NS. In a recent interview with Thunder Head Coach, Trevor Budgell, coach Budgell told the NL AAA League that his troops were ready and looking forard to playing in front of their hometown fans in the new CBS Arena.
